Day 1 at LA

Hello everybody, its lyk 1plus am here on 16th June 2008.

Firstly, thank you to all those who came down to send me off. im grateful cz its a super weird timing in the morning. Thank you for the effort. =)

Also, many thanks to the eyore soft toy that i got fr courtesy of Lyon, Duane, Patrick and Guang Yi. Im gona hug it tonight to sleep!! hahahh.



Alright, first 6 hours of flight from Singapore to Tokyo was quite ok, but was v drowsy cz of the medicine which i had. But all's fine when we arrived at Narita (duno how to spell) when the cute Hello Kitty caught my eye!! yep, n the flight fr Tokyo to Los Angeles was delayed, therefore we had more time to shop and walk ard. HAHA.

Then, the next 10 hours from Tokyo to LA was gruesome. ahhaa. really bad, sit until i hands and legs all ache!!!n my face, lips were so dry and started to crack a little!! gooddness. Im gona buy some face moisturiser tmr!

Yeppie. Then was arrival at LAX (Los Angeles Int'l airport), had starbucks and an apple garlett (yummy). We were trying to figure out how to get to the hotel we booked cz we know that they had free shuttle services. So, we walked ard n tried to look for it and a nice security guard of the airport i suppose guided us to the pick up point.

Then it was to our hotel at Holiday Inn LAX. Checked in and washed up a little before making our wae to Santa Monica (supposedly). Alright. We walked all the wae out from our hotel to the nearest bus stop, about 10-15 min walk.. we asked ard lyk whether it was the correct bus stop and stufs. Its 75cents USD for a 45min trip (quite cheap). BUT, at some place near the new MACY's, the female bus driver jus left the bus there!!! oh god. she abandoned our bus. there came another guy, did something n left us again.

Thnking that the bus will not have any driver in any time soon, we alighted and decided to walk and shop at MACY's. Then, a few min later while waitin for the traffic light, the female bus driver came.!! hahaa. i tink its hilarious cz its the FIRST TIME i see a driver abandoning his/her bus! goodddness!!

Anyway, shopping at third street promenade or sth lyk that was kinda fun. They had old navy's banana republic, quiksilver, ripcurl, abercrombie and fitch, GAP, zara, Victoria's secret and stuffs. BLAH BLAH BLAH. so much of it.

I tell u all sth! i bought a set of bikini!! woohooos. dinner at wolf gang puck and go or sth lidat was alright. it was foccacia with lotsa veggie inside w a few pieces of chicken. hhahah. Back to the hotel and stuff at abt 10 plus pm was really super ultra tired!!
